Bob Foulkrod
Bob Foulkrod of Troy Pennsylvania, has become a spokesperson for Horton's lineup of hunting crossbows and accessories.
Foulkrod, in the fifth year of his 60 month Obsession Quest of taking all 55 of the big game animals listed for North America, Safari Club International's list for the World Slam on turkeys and Africa's legendary Big Six, will add Horton to his list of renowned shooting sport manufacturer sponsors. Included on his list of hunts this year are: Grizzly Bear in Alaska, Roosevelt Elk, Osolated Turkey, Broket Deer, White Lip Peccary in Mexico, Jaguar, Mountain Caribou, Barren Ground Caribou, Central Barren Caribou, Barren Ground Musk Ox, and another attempt for a Stone Sheep.
On top of his Obsession Quest, Bob is still out doing many compound bow and muzzleloader hunts each year. His choice in hunting tools includes: Traditions muzzleloader, Bass Pro Shops XP35 compound bow and Horton crossbows. He hunts exclusively in API tree stands, and safely buckles in with the Hunter Safety System. Two other items Foulkrod always carries afield are his PLB from ACR Electronics and Lowrance Hunt Finder C. All of Bob's hunts are filmed and may be viewed on Gore- Tex and Bass Pro Shops TV shows - on several of the outdoor networks.
All of his trophies taken during the Obsession Quest may be viewed as life sized mounts at the Harrisburg, PA Bass Pro Shops. Anyone can follow "The Obsession Quest" by visiting Bob's personal web site.
