Place: Monroe, Ohio
Horton Crossbow: Yukon SL Crossbow

This is B. O'Neill, age 8, on her first morning in the stand. She's "camoed up" and holding one of her father's Horton Yukon SL crossbows. It was simply her very first day to actually get up at 4:30 a.m; shower with scent killer soap; gear up in all the camo; walk into the woods in the dark; and sit for 4 1/2 hours in the Big Game Pardner double ladder stand I bought so I could hunt with her and her older brother. We didn't get a deer that morning, but it didn't matter. She still had a great time and is looking forward to when she can carry in "her" Horton Scout crossbow and take her first deer. Her father is an Ohio Hunter Education Instructor and has been hunting with Horton crossbows exclusively since 2002. He currently owns two Yukon SL crossbows and picked up the Scout crossbow for his daughter last spring. In April, when the 2008 crossbow models are out, he'll be adding a 175 pound Legacy to his Horton crossbow collection.

Starting young Ms. O'Neil, pretty impressive. Good luck with your Scout crossbow on future hunts.
