Warranty Policies

Horton items covered by a Warranty are Crossbows, Vertical Bows, Optics and EZ-Winders. The Warranty information is listed for each below.


CROSSBOW WARRANTY
Horton Manufacturing Company LLC. warrants its crossbows against defects arising from faulty workmanship or materials for the lifetime of the original purchaser.

All crossbow strings and cables are excluded from this warranty, as is normal wear and tear. All Horton crossbow limbs are warranted for a period of three years with the exception of the DP2 laminated limbs, which are warranted for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Any attempt to alter, dismantle or change the standard specifications of the crossbow, other than as specified in the instruction booklet, will make this warranty null and void.

This warranty is made to the original owner of the crossbow and is not transferable. Warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of any parts returned to Horton Manufacturing Company LLC., and which are determined by the manufacturer to adversely affect the satisfactory operation of the crossbow. Horton Manufacturing Company LLC. reserves the right to request proof of purchase date in regards to items that are only warranted for a specific period of time as described within this warranty. To guarantee warranty service, the enclosed warranty form must be completed and returned within (10) days of purchase to establish all warranty rights between you, the original purchaser, and Horton Manufacturing Company LLC. We assume no liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. No warranties are made or authorized to be made other than those expressly contained herein.

To file a claim under this warranty, please contact the Customer Service Department of Horton Manufacturing Company LLC. at (330) 633-0305 to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA number). After receiving your RA number, please mark the number on the outside of the package, enclose the defective item with a brief explanation of the problem and ship via UPS. Please be sure to include your address and phone number. Failure to obtain an RA number may result in either refusal upon delivery, or lengthy delays for warranty repairs and service required for the item returned to us. VERTICAL BOW WARRANTY
Horton warrants its bows against defects arising from faulty workmanship and/ or defective materials for the lifetime of the product. This lifetime warranty applies to components such as risers, wheels and cams. Limbs are warranted for three years. Strings, cables are not warranted. Any attempts to alter, dismantle or change the standards specifications of the bow, other than specified in the instruction booklet, will void this warranty.

This warranty is made to the original owner of the bow and is not transferable. The purchaser must complete the product warranty card within 30 days of the purchase date to validate the warranty. Please note that products can be registered online at Vertical Bow Warranty Registration. Horton's warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of
product(s) that are determined by Horton to not be functioning satisfactorily.

Horton reserves the right to require proof of purchase to support warranty claims. We assume no liability for any incidental or consequential damages or incidental expenses. Some states do not allow such exclusion; therefore, this limitation may not apply to certain customers. No warranty is made, or authorized to be made, by any of our dealers, distributors or representatives other than those expressly contained herein.

To file a warranty claim, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by either contacting Customer Service at 330-633-0305 or complete this Vertical Bow RMA Form.

When returning the product(s), the RMA number must be marked on the outside of the package. Include the defective product with a brief description of the problem and return it to:

This product is to be returned at the customer's expense and we recommend insuring the shipment. Once repaired, Horton will return the warranted product to the customer at the Company's expense. To avoid delays, customer's should include their phone number and physical address.


MULT-A-RANGE 3 DOT RED DOT SIGHT WARRANTY
One Year Limited Warranty. Horton warrants this product to be free of original defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. This warranty is not transferable and as such is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty only applies to goods purchased in the USA.

At its option, Horton will repair or replace this product without charge for parts and labor, providing our inspection indicates that an original defect exists. Should Horton choose to replace the product, and the product is no longer available at the time warranty service is required, a substitution of similar performance and equal or greater value will be made. This warranty does not include damage caused by abuse, unauthorized repair or modifications of any kind. No implied warranty of this product is extended.

Some states do not permit limitations of implied warranty, so this limitation may not apply. In that event any such implied warranty is limited to that required by law. Horton shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or other economical or commercial losses.


HUNTER MULT-A-RANGE 4x32 CROSSBOW SCOPE WARRANTY
Two Year Limited Operational Warranty. This warranty is made to the original owner of the crossbow scope and is not transferable. Warranty obligation is limited to the repair and replacement of any part or parts returned to Horton Manufacturing Company LLC., and which are determined by the manufacturer to adversely affect the satisfactory operation of the scope in the stated warranty period.

Horton Manufacturing Company LLC. reserves the right to request proof of purchase and purchase date in regards to items that are only warranted for a specific period of time. We assume no liability for any incidental or consequential damages or incidental expenses. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. No warranties are made or authorized to be made other than those expressly contained herein. This gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. The above warranty covers scopes sold in the United States.


EZ-WINDER WARRANTY
One Year Limited Warranty. Your EZ-Winder cocking device is warranted against manufacture defect for one year from purchase date (Receipt Required). Any repairs required within one year will be performed at no charge. For a period of three years from purchase date any warranty parts will be replaced at no charge with a labor charge of $25.00. Service performed after this three year period will incur a labor charge of $25.00 plus parts.
